To elevate the playing comfort even further, the neck has been given Fender's own easy-to-play profile and the edges of the walnut fretboard have been rounded off, making the FA-135CE feel particularly snug in the hands of finger-picking guitarists. Meanwhile, due to the 25.3 inch scale length, the string tension is reduced for a lighter feel beneath your fingers, and the fretboard radius is a little flatter than average, supporting a faster playing feel overall. To give the warm acoustic sound the amplification it deserves, a Fishman piezo pickup and preamp have been fitted complete with volume, treble, and bass controls and a built-in tuner.
